Since the Fox's re-opening in 1994, hundreds of thousands of hours have gone into restoring the Fox to its former glory.  These accomplishments have been made possible through the generous donations made by caring community members.

However, support is still needed and we continue to ask the community to help through donations, Friends of the Fox memberships, and the Walk of Stars program.

Embedded in the sidewalks of historic Downtown Bakersfield, the Walk of Stars is a special opportunity to become a permanent part of the Majestic Fox Theater.  Your participation in this unique program will help pay down the mortgage on the Theater.  It will also ensure that the Fox Theater's doors remain open to serve the community.

The "Stars" are stainless steel 14 or 16 inch plaques that will be permanently placed in the sidewalk around the theater on H and 20th streets. The "Walk of Stars" consists of 67 plaques with the buyer determining the inscription and location of the plaque, from the spaces available, on the "Walk". There are three levels of participation with the location determining the cost. With each level of participation there are special gift items.
